A decorative ruffle or lace trim that cascades down the front of a shirt or blouse. Men historically wore it in the 17th and 18th centuries as part of a formal attire to signify wealth and status. Today, Jabots are popular in women’s fashion, adding an elegant vintage-inspired touch to any ensemble. Louis XIV is the designated name I have chosen for my Jabot accessory line.
